With school out for the summer and endless amounts of activities to do indoor and outdoor. Why not be one with nature and take a hike in one of our many parks in the city and national parks. Here are some trials from easy to moderate intensity.

Neepawa/Langford Trail

This trail located in Neepawa, a 2.5 hour drive from central Winnipeg, is a 10km loop trail with landmarks throughout and views of downtown.

Blue Lakes Trial – Duck Mountain Provincial Park

Known as Manitoba’s most beautiful spring-fed bodies of water, is a 5.3km loop trail with continuous view of the water. Whenever it starts to get a little hot while on the trail you can take a dip in the water below.

Whiteshell River Bridge Trail

A 4.2km trail located near Pinawa, has all kinds of different terrain in one park. There are rocky terrain, green forest and lake views.

Devil’s Punch Bowl

Known to be a moderately challenging route near Glenboro, Manitoba. Is a 7.9km or an average of 2 hour to complete. This is also a dog friendly trail, but leashes are required.

These are just a few trails in Manitoba that you can explore and there are many more. Just as a small reminder, card holders get a discount on regular priced shoes. Break them in with a light hike this summer!
