Towers Realty Group and our employees were recognized yesterday at the annual Professional Property Managers Association (PPMA) of Manitoba Awards of Excellence luncheon. Towers Realty Group received the Innovation Award, Landscaping Award, and Outstanding Community Service Award, reflecting our core values of service excellence, innovation, and community involvement.
The Innovation Award was awarded in recognition of the Towers Realty Group Resident Benefits Program, a first of its kind innovation in Manitoba. This program sees Towers Realty Group partner with a number of great local businesses in Winnipeg, Brandon, and Selkirk to provide discounted services and special offers to Towers Realty Group Residents.

The Landscaping Award was presented to The Ritz Apartments at 859 Grosvenor Avenue. Carl and Adam, the Caretakers at the Ritz, go the extra mile to ensure their property is tastefully decorated with seasonal decorations, and go to great efforts to ensure their grounds are always immaculately manicured and bursting with colour.

The Outstanding Community Service Award was presented in recognition of Towers Realty Group’s efforts to go above and beyond to support the community. In 2017, we instituted our first annual People and Pets Drive. With the help of employees and Residents, we were able to provide some much needed food and supplies for Siloam Mission, Agape Table, Craig Street Cats, and D’Arcy’s ARC. Towers staff also held a staff bake sale to raise money for Siloam Mission and Craig Street Cats, with the company matching funds raised with a cash donation. Additionally, Towers staff collected eight crates of food items for Winnipeg Harvest, with a further cash donation made by the executive for baby food and formula. The staff of Towers is proud to work for a company that give so much of their time, energy, and love to care for the members of our community who are less fortunate than ourselves.

Towers Realty Group Property Manager Donna Greaves was recognized with a PPMA Member of the Year award, in recognition of her commitment to the PPMA. Donna has volunteered countless hours of her time to the PPMA, acting as a board member and the Chair of the Awards Committee. Donna has been a member of the PPMA for 19 years and has a proven track record of excellence in property management and promoting the PPMA.
